Le Chemin Vert is situated at the edge of the village of Vieux Mareuil, just off the D939 between Angoulême and Périgueux.

There are good motorway connections making it easy to take the ferry and drive down.  From the channel ports such as Calais, Le Havre or Caen the journey takes around 6-8 hours.

From Angoulême, take the D939 heading towards Brantôme and Perigueux.  After about 42km (approx 25 miles) you will see the signs for Vieux Mareuil.  Turn left off the D939 into the village of Vieux Mareuil (D93).  Full details of where to find Le Chemin Vert will be provided on booking.

A good rail service between Angoulême and Paris or Lille provides excellent connections for the Eurostar service if you prefer to come by train.

Alternatively, if taking advantage of the various low-cost flight options, the nearest airports are at Bergerac, Limoges, or La Rochelle.  Bordeaux is about a two-hour drive.
